A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Yep
they been going in the 200's for a while now I think little Vic still holds the mph record at 208 mph on the No Joke bike but I might be wrong

The most amazing thing to me is they are only one second away from Top Fuel times on a street tire. I was talking with Johnny Dobrin and he was telling me how they are making so much power now that they have to turn the power down to around 600 hp but can make well into hp in the 700's. At 38 psi of boost

1 second would be 50-75 grand or more extra on top of the crazy money they have already spent.
pull the neck back and add 20 inches extra worth of swing arm... no wheelie bars are needed.
impressive yes but deeeep pockets are needed plus a talented fly weight.
like i said impressive run for sure and this team has both.

Crazy money 50 to 60 G's at least to build a bike like that. Jeremy is a hired gun he rode more than one teams bike a very talented rider. He make it look easy.

Wow! Amazing!

What is the launch technique on a bike like that? Sounds like he was against the rev limiter at launch.

they run a multi stage clutch and when things are perfect you just throw the clutch away.
in the old days you had to slide the clutch with your hand...an art that is slowing going away.

Awesome pass I'd say they had the clutch set just right on that one.

What I find amazing is that the run looked so uneventful. The bike just dug in and went, tracking straight all the way. No wheelie bars and 600hp should be way more dramatic than that.

That is crazy. I am no physics expert but I would imagine at 600 hp and 500 lbs and a tire that held it would go even quicker. It appears that the only limiting factors are clutch & tire technology. I love watching the no bar guys. Crazy fun

Exactly - WOW. 207 mph? DOUBLE WOW!

i didn't know that was possible without a wheelie bar.
More than 1 Pro Street has seen over 210mph in the quarter and Joey Gladstone has seen as much as 220mph.
