A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well New Enough had women's JR Atomic armored jeans for $19.99!!! Yes, $20 bucks and I treated myself to some JR ballistic gloves as well.

When I ordered I checked the measurements and NE's comments on them. They were said to run a bit small. I figured medium would be my size, but they were out of those in black, so I went with Large thinking they'd fit over other pants. They arrived today, and they fit like a glove, and pretty much too tight over other pants. I normally wear 8-10 so YES THESE RUN VERY SMALL!

The Pros:

- Well constructed.
- Soft, stretchy, perforated lining from top to hem
- Several pockets, including above the knee cargo pockets
- Large plastic zippers that look strong
- Armor is comfortable

The Cons:

- 100% cotton, so they will be come brittle over time
- They look dusty very quickly and it doesn't brush out easily
- Lower leg width is a bit baggy for my taste
- Lining inside upper pockets is paper thin
- While the zippers themselves look tough, the pulls look like they'll break with use in no time.
- They make me look fat. Oh well, safety first!

I wore a pair of the men's olive ones all round the Reno rally (1700 miles). They are pretty comfortable when they wear in. They also get bigger after some use, not because the pants stretch but because the hip armour deforms & follows the line of your body properly.

Excellent for the price.

Dan :)

I haven't seen pants with armor that didn't look like you are wearing a diaper lol, but I'll gladly take that over my hip killing me for months. Darn nice price!
