A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

like the title says i just got done rebuilding the carbs, and installing a dynojet stage 3 kit with a V&H 4-1 with the baffle in and K&N pods. let the bike warm up and went for a 20 minute ride wow what a difference it makes with clean and sealed carbs i was doin 80 before i realized it the power was so smooth compared to last year.

thanks to GSR, Bikecliff and Mr Barr for the know how, step by steps and putting together a great all in one oring kit.

Very cool! its sound pretty damm good. I hope my dynojet and pods project works out well too.

good job!

yeah i left the baffle in for now untill i decide to try it without

yeah i think it is too loud without the baffle still need alot warmer weather to properly sync the carbs

definitely too loud without the baffle, sounds like my civic did without a muffler lol ;)

yeah the motor is almost as big too :dancing:

yeah i liked the choppiness of it but yeah its not a twin so baffle goes back in

too loud???

too loud???

I took the baffle out of my gs 1100 e and took it down the road, got flipped off by a guy infront of me, Vance and Hines 4 n2 1, man that thing sang, ran hard pulled all the way to the limit hard, wooo hooo. But yea it was too loud:D

yeah i put mine back in now if i was racing it would come out :-\\\

To me it sounds like you're a little off on the jetting. You might want to try it with the baffle back in.

Agree, slight little pop when reved.

Cold out still though he mentioned. Might be dead on when it warms up.

Man.....

Love the sound of a V&H. Dang near put you to sleep on a long trip though.. lol .......
