I went up on the second Saturday because it was such a nice day. As I was crossing the bridge at the Wiers heading North, I passed an 83 Katana. It was silver and red, so I assume it was a 750. I was on my 83 1100 ES. That was the only Kat I saw - come to think of it, that was the only GS I saw too! Was that a fellow GS'er?
Laconia was kind of quiet - at 1:30 Saturday afternoon, I drove North bound straight up to the bridge at the Wiers before hitting any traffic. Southbound from Meredith was heavy. Stopped in the Spoke for a cold beverage - no lines, the working girls were dressed for the occasion, but quiet.
