A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

l looked high and low for some 37mm clip-ons that were good quality and better price.l paid about $40 shipped for a set of used Honda 600 Hurricane bars. l already have the Raask rear-sets so clip-ons were the logical path of developement for bike.l modded the headlight ears to allow under the top triple cli-on fitment and installation of a Ducati Monster H4 headlight (great headlight). l had the cool Guiliani seat recovered to repair some rips and it came out like a Corbin, looks incredible.l need to post some pics, this bike is looking pretty sweet right now:-D

Did your rearsets eliminate the use of passenger pegs? Mine did. Kinda' sucks, but then my wife wouldn't get on the red bike anyway. :)

hmmm, can you see the pic in the above post? The pass pegs are still there but since l don`t ever take passengers l wouldn`t mind either way

Where can a guy get a seat like that? Is it a stock seat reshaped? Looks nice.

Dang those bars are low. Can that possibly be comfortable?? ;-)

Sorry. The reason I asked is because I couldn't see them. My monitor is a bit dark and hard to see some pics.

no worries amigo,l just wanted to know if my pic came through,l`d never posted one before. As for comfort l`ve been riding cafe racers like that for a very long time and with the rear-sets it`s not too bad,the wind on your chest takes the weight off pretty well actually.Nothing else feels right to me anymore now,it`s a pretty high control position when your bike is set up right...ever see a race bike?:-D

that seat is a rare one. That is a Guliani seat, made in ltaly l believe for many bikes and they all have a cool cafe style.l saw one for an RD400 on ebay that bid up to over $300!

Nice!!

I rode with a set of Hurricane clip-ons (above the triple) for about 6 months, but the bars were so short that everything was too crowded when mounted on the bars.

I actually shaved about 1/8" off of my throttle sleeve, then cut a space out of milk jug plastic to keep the throttle grip from sticking to the switchgear housing and making my throttle hang up.....

Got tired of that (except for the nearly-cruise-control bit ;)) in short order - found a set of aftermarket adjustable clip-ons for dirty cheap on eBay....

Do you find that these bars are too short/almost too short for your controls?

-Q!

my experience with the honda clip-ons has been great, they fit perfect and allow me to position my controls exactly where l want them. l agree that they are narrow and l was prepared to add a section of tubing to each end if needed but l found it wasn`t nessasary. What is needed however is a clever installation and adjustment of the bump stops to prevent tank contact with the controls.l modded my headlight mounts to allow the clip-ons to work otherwise you`ll need aftermarket ears or above triple mounting..
