I understand that you start the measurement from the bottom of the float bowl with the gasket off, to....
1) the flange that you can bend to set the float height? - really hard to measure to when the floats are on. (located in the middle of the plate that holds the two floats together).
2) there is a indicator kind of mark on one end of the floats, not meant to be bent. (metal indicator thingy)
Which one of these do you measure to?
Also, this may be a stupid question but you measure with the carbs upside down right? so the floats arn't hanging in the air
