    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Edit: found on ebay for 46.89 over what it costs direct from morgan. was looking for closer number

Are you trying to use a prepaid card?We where going to try it with my wife's but if it won't work.................
 
No, my banks debit card. I contacted them and they restrict the UK china and a lot of other country's due to high fraud in said areas. I have had someone from the UK try using my card # b4 so i can understand why. Its just frustrating.
 
I was thinking about trying a Greendot card or something like that but i need to find out what where i can buy stuffs from
 
Just sent Morgan an email asking about a prepaid card,hope it will be good news.Seen that eBay ad to Dale,by the time it gets to my door up here it would be $140+,with a caring pouch it's a $170+.Direct from Morgan with a pouch it was $122+.

Bought mine used off eBay. $80 shipped including the case.
There was one for sale here a few weeks ago. Carbtune, case and the tool used to adjust the screws between carb bodies. $75 ish shipped...

Wait a bit and another will come around for cheep money.
 
i hear ya bronco thanks for the heads up. i have the motion pro tool which ended up costing about the same i just got tired of refilling it and messing with it.

I also understand that everyone wants to make a profit as far as the ebay guy but 51% markup after you figure shipping is a hair much IMO.
 
Oh I just realized I did the wrong conversion from pound to usd is 115$ usd the guy on ebay isn't to pricy. My bad.

I asked Morgan if they knew if a prepaid card would work.The answer was they didn't know if the Sage-pay service they use would take it or not.Try it was they're answer,not likely is mine if I don't know for sure it will work.
 
It's a VISA, or any other brand of credit card, I don't see why not, then again I can't say for 100% certain...

Even if you got the card and it was not accepted by Morgan, you can use it anywhere the credit card is accepted, buy gas, groceries, etc.....

I would think...
 
Is the Carbtune better then the Motion pro ?. I have the old mercury type but it fell and the stuff ran out. Now there isn't enough left in to work, tried it today
 
I had the same issue with Morgan...........it was extremely frustrating. Having bought things from around the world without issue, I couldn't understand what was going on.

I called my bank to make sure it wasn't an issue on their end. It is definitely that Sage service......Morgan should consider Paypal, as I think that would be easier.

Anyway, I don't recall how I resolved the issue..LOL. But when I did, I received it quickly. And know I am the proud owner of a Morgan Carbtune, brand new in the package....somewhere!
 
The ones you spoke of Dale are now on my work bench....carb tune pro, snycing screw driver tool thing, and a colortune.

You can do it though PayPal if you ask,but it comes with a premium.Can't remember how much extra that was.So I transferred the $$ to my PayPal balance,so what does PayPal do?Does the Payment as an e-cheque,just great.The money's not there because I transferred it:rolleyes:Got dinged for an NSF to boot.
