If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Weather improved enough for a ride with wife Saturday. She rode passenger so could take photos.
Wife likes this ride for the views of lakes and this nice deli/restraunt in Whitehall that has nice garden seating.

No real story. Just post some pictures.

Riding north from North Muskegon, pass Lake Micigan twice (seen on left) and Duck Lake (seen on right) and then along, ah, er, szome oter lake-river-something (not in photos) into Whitehall.

My going slow and nodding was her clue to take a photo or two, so that is why you may see 25 or 30 mph on speedo.

I'll skip the pictures of the garden seating at the deli.
But will say that takeing wife there a couple years ago "becuase I thought she would like it" has been the best thing I have done in years.

ANd the return trip, then the water on right is Lake Michigan.

This is about 25 mile ride north from North Muskegon to Whitehall.

I post these thinking that if some folks wanted to meet at Muskegon Bike TIme on Saturday July 16th, we could go for this ride.

78GS750Greg has mentioned similar. I may post a specific "Meeting Place" posting with more details.

And or go for ride to Newaygo (that would be about 35 miles east to Newaygo) that I have posted about before also.
Or maybe have both rides. Or maybe make a loop between the two.

Thank you Dave!

Beautiful ride. Your wife takes good pictures. It looks like you had a good day. :)

All the best to you and yours,

Cliff

hey dave, scenic dr is much nicer since they paved, eh? oh, and a heads up, they spread some "loose gravel" on the road near camp the other day, their idea of road repair. like road crew pixie dust-poof! road, healed! it is still piled up in some of the curves.

Hi Greg,

Yah, I had not gone that Scenic Drive route the last couple years cause the road was so choppy (especailly by Muskegon St Park), much nicer now.

I would have called to say we where going past your part of town, but we got the idea to go and left all in about 15 minutes after getting home from working Saturday half day.

THanks for the warning/info about the River Road to Newaygo.

I am also concidering looking for a way to make a loop out of the Senic-Drive-To-Whitehall ride and the River-Roads-To-Newyago ride. But looks like a lot of straight roads from Whitehall to Newaygo.
