    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello I have had my first gs 750 back in the 80's I loved that bike so much I don t have words to describe it, I own several bikes 1 kz 1000 1 KZ 1000 J model (1260) and 1 Kz 900(1260) street drag Yamaha R1 and I am restoring a 2008 Busa, now I bought a 1981 GS 1100 from Rhode Island.
The bike is in really good shape but I want to do some upgrades on a budget don't want to spend a fortune on it.the reason I bought it is because I love Suzukis and my has a 1981 GS 750 and kind of keep up with my kz 1000 and now he is doing an GS 1100 so I can't really let him get away with that.
SO here I am starting to get soaked with the GS people.
I know a lot about bikes I have builded my KZ engine and is amazingly well done I am even surprised myself how good it came out, after passing trough few motorcycle shops charging *@%^$*@%^$*@%^$*@%^$ loads of money and having to come home to rectify what they done wrong I gave up and started to do my own work by error and trial have succeeded keeping my bikes a subject of jealousy.

Welcome to the site.
With your resume of past Kawi builds you probably won't need a lot of help but the guys here know EVERYTHING about the GS, so feel free to ask.
How about a couple pics of your new ride.

Welcome! I too am newer to this forum and have me a 81' gs1100e I'm currently working through to have as a rider here this spring. I had an 81' gs750e back in 88' put of high school and have missed it dearly since then so I was more then stoked to find this 1100.
