I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I figured I'd let you in on the story of my GS.

Well, I bought my 1983 GS 1100ESD a couple winters ago, as an everyday/touring bike with some mild mods. Here is the pic of the bike when I bought it.

Mods to Start:
Progressive Front/Rear Suspension
Braided Lines
Vintage Yoshi Pipe (love it)

After a little time looking at it, i realized the white/blue/black thing wasn't good, and i couldn't stand the fairing (buzzy as hell). So, a shopping trip later, we have a nice 8" headlight and stubby turn signals.

Just after this was completed, I had a lady turn left at an intersection as I was going through (her fault, i got fully paid by the insurance... but she got off free due to a technicality )

So... the bike looked like this:

Well, after some tears and such, we get to building, and finally we get this. I fired her up this afternoon and DAMN she sounds good.

Mods:
1993 GSXR 1100 Forks with Racetech Springs
1993 rear wheel assembly with 93 brake
Dynojet Stage 3 kit with K&N Pods
6-piston Hayabusa Calipers
Wave Rotors
Bandit 400 Gauges.

So, I'm inches from a test ride, just waiting to cut down the chain and get the finished spacers for the front wheel. I do think I need to work on the carbs to get them running right, but she'll be good to go real shortly.

Nice man, looking good. That Gixxer running gear will transform the handling and braking of the bike. :D

I hope she rides as good as she looks. :-D

Where did you get the headlight ears from? They look awesome.

Hey what are those headlight brackets? Are those stock for something else?

Dunno how she rides yet... need to adjust the chain length.

The headlight ears are custom made by me using some 20 gauge aluminum plate, custom cut and shaped using a hand grinder, dremel and a file. I basically split a plate in half, mounted them together and then shaped them together to make sure that they were identical. I'll take some closeups later. All that I did regarding finish was brush them with a wire wheel.

Druro, How did you mount your handle bars to the top tree? Also what front and rear gears are you going with and where are getting it from? I assume you will need a offset front sprocket and need to convert to a 530 chain!

hey nice mods man she will handle like a beautey an with a respray hell she be gourgeos sorry to hear about your misfourtune but to take a positive out of the incident this bike may have not undertaken the form to which it is now. nice one dude stay happy an keep bikin man.
