    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Very nice writing style! I am definitely "invested" in following the rest of the story, and I sure am glad I missed this thread until today ... didn't have to hang on the edge of my seat to find out what happened up through day four!!!

Look forward to "the rest of the story" when you've got the time to finish it!

Regards,

Mordan,

Hey, Thanks for the continouing story.
I think I am enjoying this idea of a new installment every few days.
Am laughing and chuckling while reading of your adventures.

Sedona, hum, that sounds familiar.
Oh ... ... Peppermint Patty, I think that is where she says she is.
.

Keep the stories coming mate!
I am in the middle of studing for a maths exam and these stories make a great study break
Cheers

Man I'd forgotten about this thread. Now I'm all caught up and ready for the next installment!!!

Dude what gives?!?! Give us more. This is more suspense then waiting for the next Lemony Snicket book to come out

Great story

Great story

The hallmark of a great writer. Hook you then leave you hanging for a while. Please tell us more!

Patience, Grasshopper.....

Patience, Grasshopper.....

Be patient, Grasshopper! Being somewhat of a writer myself, I'll have you know one cannot just hack up more story like a cat with a furball....
The timing has to be right; ya gotta be in the mood, perhaps a glass of Southern Comfort on the rocks and a quiet night with nobody to bother you. That is what makes for a great story. And like a fine wine, if you try to rush it it comes out sour. And so, we wait; patiently, quietly........
(But please hurry, dammit!)

No, I haven't abandoned you all completely. The holidays have been hectic, not to mention work is kicking my ass. 11-12hr days, ugh. I'll try to get on soon and post up the last installment.

p.s. Thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks for touching base with us! Look forward to the final installment soon!!!

Regards,

good to hear from you

good to hear from you

I just ran across this thread today.

The real question is...what are you riding now!!

And if your needing a GS maybe we can talk.

I have to tell you that the 550 I had with a rattle like yours ended up with a bad rod bearing. they don't describe these old bikes as bullet proof for nothing.

Robin
