A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

lol yea, how did you guess ! hehe. it REALLY opens up and roars now with the pure open exhaust and 140 jets, runs so great :) now i just have a fuel delivery problem, works fine with the gas tank, but the tank wont let out enough fuel to keep the carbs full. hmmmmmm...

That's one mean looking machine you got there.
Looks good.

By the way, what you runnin as a back tire.......................a "baldini" ??
wink wink.

good looking bike

also a good looking 9N ford tractor in the background ( first pic)

first, whats an upside down clubman lol, and thanks for all the comments ! yea i need new tires bad, the rear is splitting down the middle :( i dont think it is near roadworthy at all, thats my next buy

He's referring to the handle bars on your bike. Commonly known as clubmans (or ace bars in Aust) they are usually put on up the other way so they drop down nice and low like 'clip-ons'.
They were a common way to create a 'cafe' bike from a stock road bike in the olden days. :D

oh lol, i just took some scrap material and made my handle bars ^_^

All of these recent cafe/rat bike postings are making me want to start a cafe/rate GS project! Stop it! :)

that bike looks great. My bike is going to be so much like yours, now i might have to change mine.Except,i would never have those kind of handlebars,i am too old and stiff to lean over that far. Those pipes must really be loud.I dont like the stock upswetp originals, yours with some baffles are more what i want.I am glad to see what i had visioned come to life.Keep up the good work.

hahaha thanks ! i love the way it turned out, not bad for like 2 days of work hehe, just ran out this afternoon and welded some mounds so the seat attaches to the bike, also, anyone know of a high flow, inline on off valve ? i made a petcock that is high flow, super high flow, and works great with just the fuel line, but i need an inline on off switch, i have an in line on off switch on there now but its for a smaller fuel size so its not that great hehe

Very cool. The first thing I noticed were the upside down bars. They really work on that bike.

Cool package.

hehe, they arent upside down, i took some scrap material and welded them together so that they would fit best with how i want to sit on this bike if i had the bars to just flip upside down i would but i dont got money to buy them, so why not just make my own i like making mine anyways cause i can make it fit the exact way i want. got some updated pictures, didnt care for the blue wheels, NEW tires made some side peices, and sits a little lower, starting to look pretty good. plus i bought these ^_^ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...E:B:EOIBSAA:US:11&viewitem=&item=330111470567

That bike is bitchin'. I love it

Twin headlights AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! (Charlie Brown impersonation)

Hate, hate, hate, vomit, vomit, vomit!!

j/k - I don't like 'em much cause I like the classic Cafe look more than the modern street fighter. I think it looks good already. I like the side panels.

update !!!

update !!!

update, lowered front end, couldnt afford clipons so i bought my own, welded some mounts to the frame to raise the rearend about an inch, tried the dual headlights, didnt care for them, back to orginal, looking good, got rid of everything but my speedo. so far so good, i killed my right turnsignals when i was welding, hooked the ground on one of the wires, :( lol so gotta fix left signals, but other than that its really comming together, im going to raise the rearend a little bit more and tune the suspension some more, but i can take it down to the pegs and not have to many worries ! :) sorry for low quality, took with phone, which was also on low qualitie lol, and if you look closely at the seat, there are bungy cords on it, had my bag strapped to it, so thats what it is if your wondering
