A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

These have been around a while. Just picked this up in preparation for the ride down to the BC rally.
Easy, 2 minute install, smooth on and off action. Hold throttle firmly. Adjustable set screw to adjust the tension. Does not lock(can easily roll throttle off any time)
About 23$. E bay or Amazon.
With the master cylinder, right hand switch block, and the way my handlebars curve I did not feel I had room for the Vista Cruise (with the bar clamp and extension arm) so I tried this. Fits on a stock throttle tube and grip setup. I saw they call this a vista cruise also. Just some FYI.
There is a single or double throttle cable model. The difference is just a little clip that sticks out toward the cable to snap onto it to orient/hold it vertical when loose/disengaged.

Works great, I don't have to be a fulltime member of the numb right hand club.(yes I adjusted my valves and synced my carbs STEVE!:p)

It blocks the kill switch from your normal thumb flick, but that's about the only issue I have found with thus unit.
