A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well ive been trying to avoid this thread becuase i like them ... Until today... I ive been waiting 2. Weeks for superbuke bars and bar ends. Packaged arrived today... All banged up... Taped crappily.... Bars was there, bar end package was there.... Minus the bar ends.. Wtf!!!! The package doesnt even look open, its just empty.... And yes i triple checked the box. Im done with them toi. My last order i bought a cargi nrt that ripped immediatlely. Ill be all over the phone with them tomorrow for sure. They might br good for oem parts. Thats it

BTW, my spelling sucks here because I posted this from my phone.....

So I just called Bandit and bitched about the bar ends. They said they would have to file a claim with UPS and that they would re-ship the bar ends and the I would receive them within 5-7 days. YEAH RIGHT!!

So let me get this straight.. someone from UPS opened the handlebars package, stole the bar-ends but left the OEM package for them untampered, and the re-taped the box and continued shipping.

GTFOH!

How bout this scenerio, some drunk from Bikebandit's packaging department slipped the bar-ends out the package to look at them, failed to put them back in, shoved everything into the box, had another vodka, then taped the box all crappy. I like that scenerio better. I'm officialy done with bandit.....

The Saga of Bike Bandit Continues

The Saga of Bike Bandit Continues

Ok so yesterday the valve cover gasket finally came in that I ordered the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend, after several calls to Bike Bandit because of backorder issues on the Brake Pads and out of stock issue with the gasket. Also yesterday under a different shipping number they also claim that I received the Brake Pads. Well I didnt get the pads only 1 large box with the the gasket (which was folded in half BTW). I called USPS and they said they show the Pads under their tracking # were delivered, and obviously the gasket was delivered because Im looking at it by United Parcel. SO after calling USPS I called Bike Bandit who is faxing me a merchandise not received form so they can make a claim, and now I guess I get to wait yet another several weeks for the rear brake pads. Its a good thing the pads on the bike are serviceable despite the fact they are a bit thin. If there is a list of prefered suppliers and ones to aviod unless absolutely necessary, Bike Bandit needs to be at the bottom of the AVOID list.
