been riding the 1150 for about 3 months with a clutch that only slips on hard acceleration. finally bought new
dealer clutch plates, stock springs and a gasket. cost 149 dollars. it took more time to remove the old gasket than it took to replace the clutch
. total time 1 1/2 hrs. sure is nice to work on a bike that is a snap to work on.
man does she scream now. 100 % stock .did a 2 nd gear roll on powered past 9,000 rpm shifted to 3 rd. hit 100 mph right now . very happy. might even take her to the drag strip now.
