A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The Progrip 721 motorcycle grip is the solution for those looking for the adhesion advantages of a dual density design and the comfort of a gel insert. High-tech rubber compounds and patented manufacturing processes used in Formula one racing make this grip the pinnacle in grip technology. Available in five colors.

Had these grips for about a month now.....time for a review.

Excellent adhesion, they never slip out of my gloves.
Good looking, stylish.
Have reduced the GS bar buzz by about a 1/3, over my SUPERBIKE grips, and very comfortable.
Wear is not yet noticable...only a month old.

These receive a thumbs up........good choice for those needing new grips. They are available from Lockhart Phillips....any bike shop can get them for you.

They are a little pricey.........$20 Canadian compared to $10-12 for most others.

8) Dr. Dre 8)

I just put Pro-Grips on both bikes this summer. The 550's are similar to Dr. Dre's but they're black and have a slightly different "tread pattern" They replaced a set of OURY Road Grips. Much better! The Connie uses an open end clip on style grip of the same gel material. They replaced a set of SCOTT grips. Much better! Ten bucks US a set. Purchased from local Suzy dealer and Dennis Kirk. Amazing how much good grips add to the ride!
