All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Most riders wave unless they forget.

Most riders wave unless they forget.

Most riders wave at me but those that don't I just figure they don't participate with other riders on the road.

I got a bit of a back handed coment from a Harley rider while I was trailering my CB home. While at a light he said get that thing fixed up and on the road so you can ride. I said yea I've been looking for one of these to fix up for a long time. Then He says it doesn't matter what you ride as long as you ride. Now that I think of it I suppose it wasn't back handed but I'm sure it matters to him what he is riding. + assuming that my bike is just something I own for the sake of having a piece of poop to ride is a bit on the condicending side. I figured he was trying to be friendly so I said thanks and then the light turned.

Ya know, i've been rideing for 14 years on the street and since i could barely walk on the dirt, I've met the HD guys that won't waive, and i've met the HD guys that will wave, I've met the punk kid that passes you doing 160 on a backroad flipping you the bird cause you "held him up" and i've meet the guy that prefers a sport bike and will take it easy around curves when rideing with somebody on a cruiser. I've meet decent guys on newer Yamaha V-Twins that are cool guys, and i've meet guys on nwer Yamaha V-Twins that have actually convinced thereself that they are rideing a HD, hehe i know ya'll know some of those, and then you find the guy, the guy that calls his bike by a beutiful name, A guy who simply calls his bike "Suzi", Suzi will take you through the good times and the bad, "Suzi" some of us have learned, is far more reliable then some other girls, I mean C'mon how many of you have saved a GS from certain distruction, barns, garages, basements, side of the house, and drained the oil, added new oil, placed fresh plugs in and cleaned the carbs a bit, then charged the battery, eased that clutch in wondering well i'll be lucky if it turns over much less starts, then you hit the button, and "Suzi" fires right up. she purrs and sounds great, she will run when you think surely she won't and she will make you beutiful summer day that much better, God I love Suzi, I've saved her twice from two different certain deaths, shouldn't have run but did, they can have the HD, and i'll keep roaring around on my GS, it might not be as "pretty" as that dressed out custom, but she's mine and she is faithful :)
Oh yea saw a 1600 cc Maurader from last year today, forward controls, mustang seat, cobra pipes, drag bar, was super nice, its shaft driven wich surprised me when all hte other jap makers have gone to belt drives for there biggest twin, anybody know why suzuki hasn't? and also does anybody know anything about the 1600cc marauder, from what I saw I really liked it, hmmm and only 10 grand compared to 20 for a harley that is close to same "extra's" hmmm not a tough choice for me
