I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

HAHAHA. Me-1. Stubborn, PITA swingarm bearing outer races - 0. They sure put up a good fight though. I gotta touch up the paint in a couple places. Ended up using a dremel, with a cutoff wheel, and gently cutting through the race, being careful to minimize damage to the bearing pocket. Once I was though, I used a wedge between the race and the wall of the pocket to "pop" the cut section of bearing out, and viola. I do have to clean up some, ah...we'll say witness marks, from the swingarm though.
Dirty buggers....

DAMN IT!!!! The Fuging Swingarm bearings are exacting their revenge. My parts puke can only get me 1 bearing...the other has been backordered. I will probably try Flat Out, or Bike Bandit, but I thought I would make an appeal to those of you keeping up with this thread, and might happen to have a swing arm laying around...the bearing number is 30203, by Koyo and the Suzuki P/N is 09265-15003.

On another note, next time have new parts hand in before throwing old ones out...DOH

Well, All is not lost. I have a pretty good Motion Industries outlet in town here, and they had the bearing I needed, in stock. I will have to figure out some way to make a rubber seal, but that ain't no biggie. I have plenty of 1/8 inch thick rubber laying around at work I can die trim.

On another note, Does anyone know of a place to buy wire harness connectors? I have one thats pretty burned up, and I would like to replace it. This is a pic....

Nasty, Eh? I know I could go the route of splicing in a weatherpack from NAPA, but if I can find the connector, It'll be much easier. Besides, If I make one connector a weatherpack...They'll all have to be replaced...

(FYI - Weatherpack connectors...http://www.weatherpack.com/weatherpackfaqs.html )

Or maybe I just scrap the whole thing, and buy this guy

BTW, this is a Ducati S4R S Testastretta. Its got about 120 HP at the rear wheels, Ohlins suspension Front and Rear, Brembo Brakes...Oh did I mention that it is BAD AS HELL!!
Now...Where to find $15,000

Hey Mike,

How is the bike going? Glad to see your still at it.

Yup, still at it. Tore apart a bonus set of carbs I picked up off Fleabay for 20 bucks. They're nasty dirty, but in pretty good shape. They've never been tampered with (air mix screw plugs still in) so all the jets are perfect. Combined with the so-so one that were on my bike originally, I should have one VERY good set, and one set for spare parts. This weekend, I'm going to a Red Wings game, but I hope to have the rolling chassis back together by Sunday evening.

Send us some Pics. Ya know how we love those continuing sagas.
Get-er-done............:-D

Why the heck would anyone want to go to a red wings game???????????

Are you going to Friday's game? Because I am going to be there.

Yup. Really looking forward to it. It'll be a first for me, Never been to the Joe before. Been to plenty of AHL games (got the griffen's here in GR) but this is my first NHL game. Woot!

If I can make a recommendation, don't try to park at the Joe. Go to a bar and take a shuttle. If you're not familiar with the area you can get kinda screwed.

Nemo's Bar is at Michigan near Trumble (right off 75 and Lodge area), right by the old Tiger Staduim. Cool bar and it has two shuttles that I think only cost $2 per person. It is about a 5 minute ride to the Joe.

Where you sittin? I'm right next to the visitors prenalty box.

My buddy has the tix, He actually got them free from work. I guess his Co. has season tickets in a couple of sections. One is behind the Wings' bench and the other is on the glass at mid ice. Not sure where we'll be. We're gonna take the ppl mover from greektown. We're goin to dinner first, then to the game.

I was sitting behind the bench two weeks ago, I also have a friend who's company has seats there. They are pretty great seats. Hearing the players when they get off the ice is cool. It adds a whole new dimension to the game.

Greektown is a good choice, and there are a lot of great places to eat (Pegasus and Hellas come to mind). If you've never ridden the people mover before, get ready for a treat. I'm not much of a gambler, but for what it's worth I think Greektown has the best casino.

Yahoo! I FINALLY found the signals I've been looking for. Ever since I saw Keith's thread here

http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/showthread.php?t=67238

I have been looking for these blinkers. Here's the EBAY link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Poli...4QQihZ020QQcategoryZ35621QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Unfortunately, I only found the single filament ones. I was hoping to go with a dual filament in the front, I would really like to have some running lights, but maybe I can scrounge the MRO crib at work, and come up with something...

I've been looking, too! Thanks for the link... I just ordered 2 sets. I bought some awhile back for the Skunk, and I really don't like them.

I'm sure you could find the parts to change out the guts to dual filament.
