A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hi Guys

My 750 does not want to run on all cylinders, coils are good, new plugs have been put in, carbs have been cleaned but the motor still seems like its not getting enough fuel or enough spark, Please help

Hi Lloyd,

I see you have found your way to the right sub-forum.

Tell us more about the known history of your bike...there are plenty of things to try to track down but a little more knowledge of the problem might help point you in the correct direction sooner.

Well, my clutch cable snappen on my way home, luckily really close to home, I bought a aftermarket rubish cable but eventually got it replaced, started the bike up and as soon as I pulled away it died.

So I decised I'll do a service, replaced the plugs and filters and added new oil, now the she starts but doesnt idle or rev up properly, if I keep it running for a while it eventually just cuts out.

You need to delete the other threads you started with the same title
they are not in the appropriate forum and are a distraction

Keep posting and responding only in this thread in this forum.

they have already been deleted, my apologies, new to the whole forum thing

Went through same drill last week. #1 pipe cold. Spark good, and a shot of carb cleaner through manifold sync hole offered rpms, telling the tale. So, off with carb rack, removed #1 jets and sprayed all orifices through, again with carb cleaner. Never actually saw a "carb booger", but she runs tip-top now. Maybe you'll get same results.

Note: carbs are on a running, (mostly) maintained motorcycle.

How about a few pictures of the bike in it's present condition? Or barring that, what has been altered or what is missing, if anything, from the bike?

Thanks, Ive stripped and cleaned the carbs twice to be sure, I have a strange feeling though it could be restricting fuel from the petcock, do you think that could be an issue?

The bike is used daily and maintained as regularly as most

Hi Rusty

The bike is stock , nothing been altered or removed.

Not sure how to post pic in the thread yet sorry i'm new to this
