A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thought I'd pass a little info everyone's way

Hey all... Recently I had to purchase some parts for my GS700 and well... had some trouble finding all the right stuff in all in one place....

I stumbled on Bike-Bandit.com and discovered that I could pick virtually any part right from the orginal schematic!

Turn around time wasn't great... three orders... each took 8 business days... but the parts were all orginal... and Im sure that price is a little high... but if you don't have a parts bike around... nor do you want to have a parts bike around they are an excellent place for all those little parts that you need... (and of course... OEM)

You can take the part numbers from BikeBandit and plug them into http://www.ronayers.com/ for a better deal on the same part. I don't know what their service is like because I've never actually bought there, but the quote is good!

Bike bandit is very good! Found many obscure parts for my GS750EX -- bought many fasteners, rubber grommets, etc. for $29. Of course the electrical stuff (stator/RR, signal generator/coils) should be replaced with aftermarket through Electrex and Dyna.

Cycle-parts.com is bike bandits big brother. Get the part #'s from bike bandit and give it to cycle-parts and the price goes down if your total is over 100.oo us.
