A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I Have Ordered Parts From This Company Before Like Exhaust,
Brake Caliper Pretty Basic. However When Trying To Order A Specific Suspension Part Or Not As Common Of An Item I Always Have Given A Referance To A Parts Fish Diagram And They Dont Verify It With Me They Walk Out To The Bike In The Yard And I Have To Describe It To Them - Which Then Gets Confusing. I Call It This
He Calls It Or Thinks Its This. It Gets Really Frustrating. Three Of My5 Parts Have Been Incorrect Out Of The 5 I Have Bought From Them They Are Probably The Only Yard In The Nation That Have A Vast Amount Of Used 80's Bike Parts, But Just A Heads Up Make Crystal Clear / Send Them A Picture Of What You Need, Next Time
I Will Fax Them The Part Picture Or Number In The Diagram. The
Number For Boulder Bike Works Is 1303 651 3787, Just A Heads Up Hope This Helped.

How about taking a pic of the part you need and e-mailing it to them?? (And vice-versa).
You could also sell your unwanted parts on steal bay. A few more weeks, and you'll get a good price for them...

FYI... Boulder Bike Works is also partsguyz on ebay, too. In a lot of their auctions, they have ?? in the title, so I guess they aren't sure about a lot of their parts!

I work in longmont and stop in there on a fairly regular basis. They are fairly knowledgeable, but they don't always know what's what. of course, they get whatever they get, so the parts may be oem or not, hard to say sometimes.

they do have a huge lot of wrecks mostly, and three to five pickers running parts and cameras. You can call them and ask for specific parts.

good guys, but sometimes a little high in their pricing, at least if you walk in and know you want something, haven't really compared their auction starts...

if anyone wants me to stop by there sometime I'd be willing.

I won one of their eBay auctions for a Brembo brake master cylinder for my KTM495, back in my pre-Suzuki days. No problems, except it needed a rebuild, which I would have done anyways. The price was good, and they shipped quickly. No complaints from me. I usually hit Steele's in Denver since it's closer, but I'd buy from the Boulder guys again...even if it means I have to go to Boulder! :-P
