If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

This was on a nice day testing my friends Outlaw GS1100. On the second pass down the track after a no nitrous run he was going to make a full on "spray" pass. some how the progressive box malfuntioned and put 200 HP of nitrous to the bike all at once around the 1/8th mile mark. As you can see by the photo it jumed off of the ground running over 140 mph according to the 1/8th mile time on the slip. I asked him what did he think he was doing and he said he thought he could ride it out. Yeah right. I would have jumped off. He suffered a broken wrist, and a collarbone plus some rash. full gear saved him from being beat up too bad. The bike suffered minor damage and had to have a new body but not as bad as you would think. I think he was lucky not to have been hurt worse. anyway the track photographer got a great shop of his wild ride.

Now there is a classic wallpaper background for a computer.
He should consider a wheelie bar.

class

The bike runs in semdra and locally in the outlaw class. it's 74" inch wheelbase. a no bar class. 4.70's in the 1/8th mile 7's in the 1/4. generally it's not that viloent. I guess it was the extra 200 HP coming on at once. He said it came up so fast that by the time he realized it was up it was too late to let off. then it came off the ground too. It has a promod GS motor in it. very fast. And it's just a back halfed GS1100 frame.

YEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Oh,oh! This is gonna hurt!!! I'm glad he's ok! GREAT timing & location for the photographer on that one! What a picture!!! Ray.

Yeehaw! Glad he can mend.
I would LOVE a hi res pic of that for wallpaper.

Doing 140 mph and it stands straight up and jumps in the air...amazing that he survived with the relatively small injuries.
The idea of jumping off/letting go at those speeds must have been terrifying as well.
I remember seeing this clip of Korry Hogan bailing at 200 after a huge electrical shock. I am in awe of you high speed drag racers.

From talking to him he thought he was going to ride it out. he held on till it tore the tail of the bike of then he let go. he mostly slid for a ways. good gear is a must.

woah! glad he's not too seriously injured, but man, that's one heck of a picture

Wow, what a picture !
What a picture of such a thing happening.
And the guy is okay.

How did anyone get that picture? Is it part of a vidio?

It is a series of pics that were taken that was the best one so I used it.

Can't you just hear him, just before the ride. "Hey guys, watch this, I'm gonna make this baby fly."

He can say that his GS is a real rocketship...ready for take off in that picture.
