A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I found this number Robin 13110-49000 :?:

:D

Packet of stroopwafels coming your way John, mail me your adress!

Just check with the dealer that it is the right #

The thing is the dealer couldn't find a seperate part number for them either, they called me back asking if I'm sure they are seperate part and not one with the plenum chamber. I put the number in Google and got a reference on a few parts sites: http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&q=13110-49000&meta=

And if they are the wrong ones I will send you the bill WOEHAHAHAHA

*Goes off to buy a packet of stroopwafels for Wrench

Just check Alphasports under aircleaner, thats what i did :?:

Well the verdict is in
They are not sold seperately from the airbox, I am out of luck.
Anybody have any other otions? :?
Or four fitting K&N filters they wanna sell? :D

I just checked and it appears for the 1000, you have to buy the airbox to get the tube outlets. I recently bought new airbox to carb tubes/rubber boots for my 83 1100. They are part number 13881-49021 (replaces 13881-49020) and they cost $5.86 each (USD) I think the end that goes into the airbox will be the same for my 1100 and your 1000. I just went into the shop and measured the inside diameter of one of those boots. It fits a 55mm carb flange. You may be able to use them if you put a wrap of rubber insulating tape around your carb flange.

Except the 78/79 GS has slide carbs, not CVs, so the diameter is different. I used to have the original airbox somewhere, with a K&N filter in it. Seems to be lost ..hmm...

I know. :-) I was thinking it may be feasible to adapt them if that is all that is available.
