If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hi guys, I'm considering replacing my 1980 auto petcock to an old school one. Looking for reliable options on the market. Cheers!

The leverless petcock has 50mm bolt spacing. It's also low profile in order to clear the carb tops. You need to look at the specific application you have and then go from there. Pringle petcocks are popular with the go-fast crowd but I'm not sure if they have the proper parts for your application.

My bike has K&N pods, so there is a bit of room for a larger fuel tap. Curious if any other GS bikes use 50mm one. There is bunch available on Fortnine, but the search has to be bike specific (model/year).

There are several different bikes that used the low profile leverless petcock w/50mm spacing. I don't think there are any 50mm spaced levered petcocks as used on GS bikes.

Hi, pingle peacocks are very nice. I am using the duel outlet with reserve. I had to file the hole in the tank a little so the filter would fit. Advantage - looks good, smooth operation and you can easily shut off fuel to the carbs for storage or maintenance. Disadvantage - costly and you must remember to shut it off.

No luck so far with OEM part. Any OEM outlets recommendations? Either Canada or US.

I just bought a Tourmax from an ebay seller in Seattle.

Claims to be manufactured in Japan.

Installed it yesterday.

Look identical to factory spec with the exception of the angle on the vacuum port is slightly steeper & 2 lever positions are reversed.

This was for an 1150, but they offer one for the 1100 too.

PRI is @ 3 oclock & Reserve is @ 9 oclock.

Paid $45 US for it.

In order to activate Prime on that type petcock you need move the slot to the proper position and then pull vacuum to open the diaphragm. There is a small rubber check valve built into the back cover of the petcock that holds the plunger open once vacuum pulls it open. I bought one of those Tourmax petcocks before and it looked OEM, however the check valve never worked properly. Hopefully you guys get luckier than I did. Since Suzuki discontinued that part it seems aftermarket is the only game in town.
