DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Phillip Island Moto GP tyre farce

The whole thing was as weak as pi$$ .
The tyre manufacturers knew they had a problem from the first round of the Superbikes in March .
They had plenty of time to come up with good rubber .
Bridgestone should have been penalised .
Open it back up to all the tyre manufacturers I say .
But ................ the next two races are gonna be good .
I bet a Spaniard wins the title .

Cheers , Simon .

If they docked MM points, he would have to start from pit lane at Motegi per current MotoGP rules

that is not true, they could have docked him championship points with no other penalty incurred. IF they chose to award him a penalty point on his license, THEN he would have had to start from the back of the grid.

Motegi is proving interesting - low cloud has stopped the chopper getting there so no running until it does....and a Kiwi with HRC says it's hosing down near the circuit...Bet Mike Webb wishes he was running a club day at Manfield back in NZ....

yep, free practice cancelled on Friday and qualifying has been delayed today (saturday) due to low visibility. but they do promise a race tomorrow, what ever happens.

They did come up with a new compound, but they didn't anticipate the heat!
The decision was made after the rubber came off the rims and the heavy blistering on the INSIDE of the tyres became evident. I think the black flag was necessary, and I hope MM doesn't take it this year.
