DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Parked broadside in the middle of the road Redman style, gotta vote for the curviest road by Burque.

Toss-up between Baatfam's and Trevor's hairpins, but the hump on the exit of Baatfam's would make it interesting under power.
So, Baatfam, for me.

Bob, my statement of the theme was a quote
“I like a curve in the scene.”
(ah, and being a quote in my post, you probably didn’t see it when you quoted my post doing the summation.)

oh…. Voting…. I enjoyed all the entries, cuz they all had a curve, of some sort, in the scene. Some pics included a curve, and some the picture was definitely about the curve.
Need to ponder my vote.

And, Welcome to Lorenzo.

I really like marvinscott pic, but wonder why is it vertical when the scene of bikes on road is horizontal. My guess would be Musta been someone with smartphone someone under the age of 35 that never had any other “real” camera. Har har har.

roger burque gets honorable mention for bike pose and view of S curves. I wonder if are any such curves in Albuquerque area, or where that is he went.

the two 180degree turn pics got my interest.

vote for Bob baatfam. The curve fills the entire frame. The curve is the intent of the entire picture.
Maybe I like it because I have a similar pic of 180degree turn with elevation change on NC28 (but with bike in foreground, a rental Harley). I did have to look to see if it was the same place. Nope, the place on NC28 has a bridge and has trees in center of curve, otherwise it looks the same.

OK, Saturday morning! Let's tally up...Good turnout again. Thanks!

With one vote each, kerrfunk and Lornezo

With three votes each, gustovh and Baatfam

And with four votes, for the win, Burque73! :applouse:

Nice one Roger, what's next?

Thanks for the votes. Sure wish I was able to get to that spot for last week's fall color theme. Trees probably already passed their peak color up there though. That pic is in the Sandia Mountains East of town, about 25 miles from home.

I'll have another theme up shortly.

Bike/beach/sunset pic, photobombed by bunch of seagulls
< d e l e t e I think I used that pic before, first or second year of the game, and I think I recall maybe it was a winner then.>
