Roger, out of curiosity, has the thread on the other forum where you borrowed the idea from gone way he same way, or are we just extra geeky?

That's a good question. I haven't checked in on that other forum since early this year, around the time I started this thread. I didn't own the V-Strom anymore and frankly I like it better here anyway. I did share a link to this forum with the original author/ creator of this theme game and he was glad to see others playing it elsewhere.

Not to mention the quality of the photos is outstanding this week. Nice work everyone!

I am going to have a little coffee and study these pictures again, before making a final decision.

Hey DaveR, you have 2 CXs? The one on right with out a sidestand makes me suspect not.

The one on the right, an '82 Honda GL500 Interstate belongs to member Killer Canary, the other is my '81. They had a 2 year build run and have proven to be dependable, versatile low maintenance machines, if not exciting.

Ah, the touring CX with fairing and bags were called GL.
And those are two bikes in picture. I was wondering if one image was copied and then maybe some things removed to look different. Interesting pic.

Dorkburger's pic of his bike in the cloud gets my vote.


Just fyi, my entry photo was taken at sunset but looking to the East was far more interesting. We rode home through that distant thunderstorm.

A great bunch of cloud pics! We see serene clouds, atmospheric clouds, warm happy clouds, sullen clouds, low clouds, majestic clouds, winter clouds, even otherworldly clouds.

There are lots of reasons to think 'best' pic and every pic is a winner in some category. If one of the criteria is degree of response in the viewer, then Agemax's humourous ''a happy cloud!'' gets a thumbs up. I actually chuckled out loud. But because of its sheer dramatic effect Burque gets my vote this week.​
