A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Saturday Morning.

Tally Time.

Vote count I have (in order of appearance):

Burque 7, Me Redman 5, Sandy 1, MarvinScott 1.

Pretty much a two horse race this week . . . . . . .
With Mr Roger Burque ahead by 2 furlongs.

14 total votes, and half of them for Roger Burque's long road ahead out in the wide open desert.

Thanks for the votes guys. That spot in Utah is a must see if you ever get out that way.

Having a bit of trouble coming up with another theme. Thanks for your patience.

Man, sorry about the delay here.

Folks in New Mexico are crazy about chile. We even have an official state question, Red or Green? If you can't decide then go for Christmas, red and green. Fresh green chile is typically roasted to blister up the skin, peeled and added to nearly anything around here. I mean anything! If red chile is your thing, you may hang it to dry out in a ristra and use the dried chile pods to make a puree. This is my favorite it's like gravy. Thanksgiving turkey smothered in red chile is to die for!

What are some local favorites where you are?

My local favorite would have to be Wheelies Motorcycle Cafe.
I'm dressed up for the local DGR here about 5 years ago.

So my town of no size is about 40 miles from a town of any real size. Around here when someone is hungry they sit on the back porch and wait for some game to come along. So in that vain one of the local favorites.

In the summer, the beach is a favorite that brings a lot of people.
See! Looks like a "Where's Waldo" scene down there.

I may go down there a few times in the summer, but typically go the other way.
I go there more off-season.

I recognize the pier and lighthouse from some of your other pics. It's neat to see the surrounding area.

We have a beach here, if you can believe that. Tingley beach is in the heart of Albuquerque. Grab a coffee from Starbucks nearby and walk around the lake. I could probably make it all the way around before the coffee is cool enough to drink. LOL

Wow, this week flew by and I forgot to post a pic. Lots to like here. I like Gustov's pic in the gun shop using his bike as a leaning post for his Ruger Mini-14 Target model, but I've seen it before.

I'm voting for Trevor looking dapper on the DGR outing.

While it's hard not to vote for a good-looking guy like Trevor there's no way I can avoid voting for the chile pic. :)

I've always thought the gentleman's ride looked like fun but I don't have the fancy duds. Living vicariously thru Mr. Trevor so I vote for his picture.

Burque pic is certainly nice pic of something favorite and unique to the area. If I had been there I would not have parked bike any closer either, out of concern for tarnishing the paint.

baatfam is definitely a favorite place. Shows the place well with all it attracts.

vote for Trevor. Nicely posed to show name of the place and a bit of what it is like. Intersting pic the way it shows Trev dress up to be distinguished.
That would be a favorite place of mine if there were such a place around here (would not even have to be nearby).
