I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Dragsters only have brakes on 1 axle.
Pretty EASY to tell the intelligent ones from the idiots! The intelligent ones have rear brakes!!!
no real drag strip track with a proper insurance policy to have and protect would pass a vehicle to compete that does not have a brake per axle..
no real drag strip track with a proper insurance policy to have and protect would pass a vehicle to compete that does not have a brake per axle.. (assuming you are faster than 120mph and 9.99 sec you'll have to show a license and have leathers too)
I have seen 1 braked bikes get trailered and hear the rider cuss for hours after in the pits. Even with a current registration.
Me, I have not been to every track in America but I have been to more than 1. some tech process is visual look over- after they know you. If you are a stranger- some check both brake resistence/operation, throttle return snap, chain guard, 2" ground clearance, kill switch,Snell date in helmet, glove seams, leather jacket seams, etc..
BUT if there are tiny places that circumvent common sense to get racers in the gate, it is ok with me I am not the fun police.. but I have never seen it IHRA or NHRA proper tracks...
however..
there is a little place in conesville IOWA that a biker gang built a eigth mile track on to party around/ bet on. You can race naked if you like. I bet they don't care if you have brakes at all - there is a corn field at the end ! And as long as your are on a harley you do what ever you want out there.
Indeed at 75 an 80(Local Strip) tonight i needed every bit of my rear brake since the new front pmfr caliper AND line seemed to have air trapped?Or i just needed to break in the new front pads since the 41mm caliper was brand new?Having raced a GS1000 on the national circuit for many years, with AMA Dragbike, NHRA, IDBA and Prostar, I can tell you this.......The front brake is used for doing burn-outs and the back brake is for slowing down or stopping. Please do not use the front brake when racing. The front wheel will wash out in the blink of an eye.......Not only do you need a rear brake but you need a good one.....Billy
