I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Anyone know what jet sizes I need to change to when switching over to pod filters? Any adjustment on the slide needle, like a tooth down?

Thanks!

** I should also say that I'm going to be switching exhausts to a 4-2 "megaphone" style exhaust. The factory 4-2 is on there now, with the small openings on the mufflers.

OH MAN!!
what kinda mechanic is yous if yous says gets a jet kit..
GEEEEEEE WHIZZZZZ!!:twistedevil:
What you talkin about Willis?
Ok
Go up four sizes on the main jet, one on the pilot jet and shim the needle. Then come back and wonder why you can't shake that stumble.

If you can't afford a jet kit this is what I'd do. To shim the jet needle take off the plastic spacer over the clip and replace it with two Radio Shack washers. You want more needle sticking out of the end to raise the needle to richen it.
The jets are sized in 2.5 increments. So if you main is a 100 I'd go with a 110. If the pilot jet is a 40 I'd go with a 42.5. Adjustments of the idle mixture screw will also be needed.

Let me PM you my paypal, I won't mind taking your donations for a jetkit jetkit jetkit.

Chef, Thanks... I'll check what size jets are in there today and get back to you. The stock jet needles don't have other grooves on them for adjustment? I worked with some Kehine carbs a couple years ago and I remember those jet needles being adjustable and I got larger jets at a local dealership. I'll look into it today and let ya know what I find.

Sincerely,
Jetkit Jetkit Jetkit

I have a 1982 GS650l and was thinking about doing individual intake pods and a 4 in to 1 exhaust. Would you suggest getting the DynoJet Stage 3 Jet Kit? [h=1][/h]
