If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Polaris R/R prices (SH775, Polaris part number 4012941)

Steve

GS Whisperer
I am getting ready to get another one of these little critters, so I did my usual comparison shopping and decided to post my results.

If anyone knows of another vendor that is worth mentioning, please let me know, I will add it to my list.

I will update this first post as necessary, and will also include the "As of ..." date for reference.

As of 11 FEB 2018:
I have just checked all the vendors on the list and it now shows proper amounts.
The current winner, by just about $17, is Procaliber.

For those looking for the Triumph harness that plugs in to this:
Triumph part# T2500676. You'll have to cut off the opposite end and wiring to your bike, but it plugs right into the SH775.

I am not in the market right now.
But, thanks for looking out for your fellow members Steve.

Thanks Steve! And just as a heads up for international buyers...

When I got mine Partzilla had the best combination of price and shipping cost to Aus... the others either won't ship internationally or the price for shipping is dearer than the R/R. With shipping, it still had me $US45 cheaper than buying the unit here in Aus. I also would have had to pay more postage on top of that to get it from interstate here... damn Australia tax!

Thanks for posting this. Last time I ordered a Polaris R/R, I ordered two because shipping was the same and I have a feeling they won't stay this cheap forever.

Roadster Cycle has just the regulator for $94.95 with $5 for shipping. Going by your list that makes them the most expensive.

I've noticed (and your spreadsheet helps validate my observation) that BikeBandit's pricing seems to have drifted down a bit over the years so that they are more in line with other internet parts vendors.

I generally buy tires from them because their prices are about eh same as Dennis Kirk or Motorcycle Superstore, and it seems like they have the "freshest" tire inventory.

I'm thinking I'll get one of them that fancy-shmancy Polaris RRs, along with a couple tires for my "new" 1100G.

I will grant that they don't do too bad on some of the aftermarket stuff, but OEM Suzuki is still high enough to avoid for a while.

Not only do they use their own part number scheme, they also have their own "retail" prices that seem to be a bit higher than all the others.

It has been a while since I have included the BANDIT in one of my comparison shopping exercises, so it took a bit of searching. The parts list was a bit limited, but the results were rather typical:

I take it all these Polaris R/R's work as replacements for our Suzukis?

"All these Polaris R/Rs" are all the same one.

Yes, it is the current (pardon the pun) favorite for our GSes.

So for comparison, here are the prices from our local parts gurus Mick Hone... add shipping from the US for us and they don't end up looking so bad with the Australia Tax figured in... and Mick Hone are definitely the best to deal with down here!

13882-45030 $16.40
13881-45030 $16.40
11241-34201 $26.30

i paid $137.90 to Roadstercycle.com for a SH775. that included the 2 connector plugs and shipping to the UK. Not a bad price (?85.86) considering they are difficult to find in the UK for a reasonable price and it was delivered to my door in 5 days!

That is a good price new. I got mine for $35 shipped, on eBay. Granted it was out of a late model wrecked Ranger, but it had low miles...

thanks for this. I have been trying to find out how to go about getting one of these to upgrade my bike for leds, and wasn't sure of an exact part number. now I have that and a comparison shop!
