    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Since the day I opened shop this discount has been in effect, and will remain as well.

When I started my Katana project this forum was instrumental with virtually every problem I had. Everyone here offered good and experienced advice to a true, wet behind the ears newbie, with no reservations whatsoever.

I've always polished privately and for friends over the years, but it was here at this site that I discovered the demand for truly cheap and affordable polishing among motorcycle enthusiasts. I went into business and have done well. All thanks to GS'ers, and this is why all you here are special to me. What else can I possibly offer but a hefty discount?

Charlie, how's the PC coming?? I have a full bike full of black parts, and likely a couple of other's bikes I will need done this winter. The frame I will likely have done here, as the shipping would be rediculous, but for everything else, just to help a fellow GSR brother, I'd like to send the biz your way. You in full swing with that stuff yet?

so question is how much for all thwe covers ,and rear sets to be polished im serious!!,and maybe the valve cover ,not sure on it yet

Polishing

Here you go, guys. I'm expanding the polishing of aluminum parts from just doing it for my restorations. My shop was just built and I'll be finishing it out in a few weeks. I got delayed on it for several weeks because of my untimely crash. I'm retired, doing OK, and don't need a lot of money for the work. In fact, it'll be low-cost (cheap). I saw a couple of clowns in North Austin (Pflugerville?) that were charging up to $125 to polish one wheel! That's crazy. I'll be focusing on engine cases, wheels, fork lowers, etc.. I'll also be bead blasting parts. I once paid a guy 40 bucks to bead blast the exterior of two carbs off of my T500. That was ridiculous and no working class collector should ever have to pay that much for twenty minutes worth of work. Jay Lenos we aren't. I'm staying away from powdercoating as I've had bad luck with ovens (burnt pizzas, brownies, etc.) and fire.
