A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

:) It's all good. I only wish I have the skills and tools to custom my GS like all of yours!

Every single piece of fairing were either missing or broken, and instead of spending big money on new pieces I took them all off and had myself a little stickerbomb project .

WOW! That sux, I can't believe they f'd up that......just kidding, it's your cup a tea, but don't expect many here to like what you did, everyone has their own vision, and some are just blind.

what bike are you talking about???

Here's mine

Here's mine

Thanks for the comment.

I tried really hard to keep the lines of the bike. The rear frame to tail, the tank to nose lines and the height of the rear not overpowering the tank height.

I am really pleased with the outcome.

With the exception of the pods, and add some side covers, actually looks like it could have been a production bike like this. Nice bike.

Thanks. That was the look that I was going for, a production look. Kind of a "what if" thing.

I know you said you had more to do, maybe consider breaking up all the flat black look, repaint the engine half/half, some black some silver, maybe red accents on the wheels, might make the whole bike POP a little and stand out more.
But yeah, you achieved your goal for the most part, now ride the rubber off it.

Now that old_skool mentioned it, I also was thinking of perhaps white cam covers and ignition cover on that.
Along with the white side covers of course.

Yeah.. the engine is getting cleaned thouroly and getting a coat of fresh paint.. black lower, silver upper or silver lower and black upper.. not sure yet.. I AM riding the rubber off of it as well.

i thought of putting all of the electronics under the seat and doing the clean look through the battery area. Might be a good look too. Not sure...

I think the Stormtrooper look works pretty well for the bike, but the electronics do need to be covered.

That, with a hugger on the rear wheel, like Agemax's 1000. Maybe some blingy brushed aluminum rearsets too.

The Main portion is a '80 GS850 G ( stock tank with modified front fender )
The tail is a '05 GSXR600.
The nose is a '12 Ninja 205R
The belly pan is a Yamaha ( it was modified to fit, and I dont remember which bike it came off of).
