Had all the engine covers, shifters and sets polished out...they turned out incredible! Escobar Polishing did the work..ask for Charlie.

Worked a little today, got the chainguard painted , mounted up the rear foot pegs after paint and polish...can only do so much with one arm.

The valve cover was beyond polish, so Charlie at Escobar Polishing blasted it for paint. Applied some Dupil-Color engine enamel. Turned out pretty good, probably wont show much under the fairing.

Mounted up the side covers and re-installed the valve cover. I replaced all the hardware on all the the covers including the stator and starter covers. Trying to mount the that freakin stator with one arm was a PITA!!! Good Grief!
Its a big puzzle now everything is pretty much complete just slow goin with a gimp behind the wrench!!

You planning to pull down the brake calipers and master? Please say yes. My old 750 had corrosion on the caliper pistons. Adding stainless brake lines really firmed up the lever feel. Well worth the effort.

I ordered all new pads and stainless break lines. calipers look pretty good, not to sound dumb, but what advice do you have on the masters?

My advice is don't judge the condition of the brake system from the outside. Pop out the caliper pistons, take apart the master, and look for evidence of corrosion. My ES had pitting on both front pistons. I'm pretty anal about this kind of stuff though and always do this to each GS I purchase before any riding.

I tore down the front calipers and master. As you can see the cylinder walls were very pitted and full of rust and corosion. Ended up swapping them out with some I had from a part out bike that were in much better condition. Installed new pads and stainless brake lines both front and rear.
