A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Greg,
I really like what you have done on Ol' Yeller. -- very, very nice!

What am I supposed to say?:oops:Was told on a local forum I'd take a $200 bike and make it a $201 bike.Think it may be worth a little more than that!Since I'm crass talking about money. parts sales have about covered the initial purchase price of the 4 bikes.

Whoever said that's a knob... I reckon over here you're probably talking $4000 - 5000, and seeing as we're about double the price of them there, that should make it about $2000 - 2500 for you... $201 my a**... you done good :D

Yeah comments like that and lots of others got him banned:clap:He's not as bad in person but his forum persona is pretty bad.In the market here I'd probably get $1500-1800.Not that she's for sale.Honestly if I was really smart as soon as I started her running I should have flipped her.Happy I didn't but the thought did go though my mind.

Aaaah one of *those* I see... :p

Mate I think we're all happy you didn't, it's turned out exceptionally well.

And I like your new avatar too :)

Where did you find that screw driver/nut driver thingy and whats its real name? I just did a sync today and thought about how nice something like that would have been.

bike looks awesome by the way, the yellow goes well with it.

$201????????????
BS, i will give you $202..........for the front valve cap:p
That is beautiful, you really have done a nice job there, that yellow just displays so well, and I agree with Chuck, anyone who does not think so, needs their eyes tested.
You truly are a craftsman, sir.
What was the process involved to get the wheel rims so shiny, I have to do mine shortly, steel wool, buffing compound, wet sanding??

Was a statement aimed at all us guys doing older bikes on the site. The guy works at a big local dealership so it was taken in that context.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,I like it anybody that doesn't can not look. Most seem to so I'm not going to worry about the ones who don't.
Wet sanded IIRC 400,600 then 1500 then 2 grades of buffing compound and a very patient wife

Carb sync tool from Pro-Motion.I got it from a local shop because it was cheaper than getting it shipped from the US.Turn out to be way cheaper.
