I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I am glad you had good weather. I just went in July 21-26 and it rain 3 days straight. I could not even see the Perce Rock. But the some of the roads are awesome.

It looks like you had a good time.
I get the feeling the weather there is a like Maine --wait 5 minutes and it changes. I had great weather the first two days, got dumped on pretty good twice on day 3 (then the sun came out :)), and managed to dodge some big storms on day 4 with a few sprinkles here and there.

Did you go through the Route des Failles in Perce?

No, I did not get a chance. I went up the North Shore of the St Lawerance through Quebec city and crossed over at Forestville. It rain from Montreal all the way.

I then went counter clockwise. I went Mante and took the 195 south-nice road with awsome curves. Then the 132 to Carleton sur mer to camp. It did rain but it was not hard and dried up a little.

The next day I woke up to fog so thick it was not funny. I couldn't see the tent next to me. I waited three hours and left in the fog (not as thick). I got rained on off and on and drove through fog.

By time the time I hit Perce, it was a thunder shower and fog. So, I by passed Route des Failles- I had it planned on the GPS-and kept driving.

I made it to Gaspe and called it quits and pulled into Adams Motel-two thumbs up. I had only ridden 275kms and it took about 7 hours.

Next day it was clear from Gaspe to Ottawa and I left-I did do the 198 and that was pretty good.

I did stop at the same falls as you did. There are some nice views on that whole route.

Sorry about your weather, that's a bummer. I wonder what the best month might be typically. Sept is real nice in Maine but might be a touch cool on the Gaspe?

Thanks for the info on 195 and 198, may have to work those in next outing :)

Did you go clockwise or counter clock wise around Gaspesie?

I saw the photo of the road into Perce. I did not even really see that clearly, I just drove it in the fog.

I will be going back sometime.

Glad you had a good time.
