Wow, Its been a long time since i have posted. Anyway after a 2 year hiatus from the GS i decided to work on her again. I have rebuilt carbs again, adjust air screws to the highest idle(got rid of the annoying pop through exhaust), synced and adjusted air screws again after sync. The problem i am having is it wants to idle at 2000 rpms after i blip the throttle from 1000 rpms for about ten seconds then it is back to 1000 rpms and slowly drops and sometimes dies. I did have problems trying the highest rpm but i was patient and listened for sudden changes and thought i came out all right. I thought since it wanted to high idle it sounded like a lean condition but when i pulled the plugs they looked rich (i'll attach a pic). I am stumped from here and need advice. I also noticed there isn't much adjustment left on the main idle adjust screw. What i mean is i can't turn it too many times in before it is out of the thread and the spring is compressed. Oh i want to add plugs were pulled from idle not the "chop method". Help!
