    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Welcome Wes, nice to see you here.

Was good to meet you earlier this year.

Remember this, that was a fun night.

Great picture! I assume you removed the family portrait over the fireplace and replaced it with this picture!

To have a picture of Wes setting on my Cooley or having a picture of him as he signs the tank would be the highlight of my motorcycling days. I couldnt think of anything more awesome.

Hi Wes,
I'm another of Trev's so called friends. Great to see you here, stay out of the Vortex if you want to retain your sanity. Let us know if you need any tech help, most of us sit glued to our screens all day :)

Yes this is a very welcomed addition to the forum. I hope to pick your brain if I ever get around to making a replica track bike. Thanks for joining our group Wes.

Welcome, Wes! (and I think we should add a parenthetical thanks to trevor?)

Welcome Wes. Sorry I never got a chance to meet with you during your visit north this summer. Too busy moving to do much of anything. I've been through Twin Falls many times on our trip south. Beautiful place. I'm due north of you just across the Can/US border.

Hi Wes. I'm glad you took the time to drop in here. I too am just learning of your racing career through this forum being a somewhat younger member as well. You sure have inspired a lot of people through doing what you love and from what I've read about you have been a great influence both on the track and off.

Wow Wes, the things I'd love to talk to you about if I had the time. Welcome.

Good Googly !! Are we actually worthy ? :p

Wes, you are a legend....and Im a geek. In 1981 I lusted over the new GS1100E from afar. I was on deployment in Japan. Reading every magazine and Suzuki advertisement I could get my hands on. I'm not sure I even knew who Pops was but I knew of you. When I returned to the states in the spring of 82 I made it my mission to own that Bike. Riding home from the dealer I hit a stretch of twisty s called 9 mile road. I was you. Told you I was a geek.

A most gracious welcome to the GSRs

This is amazing! Welcome to the site Mr. Cooley. I was privileged to watch you and the beginnings of superbike racing. This site re-stoked my passion in old school superbikes and am in the process of doing 2 now, one red, one blue. My signature pic is a WERA club race from Daytona bike week. This is sooo cool.

All, I'm helping Wes get a website built..and get him "OUT THERE".
Look soon, for www.wescooley34.com

As you post these pics, may I take them and possibly use them with the standard disclaimer..."all images are property of owner and are posted with permission"
thanks in advance.

The one's I'm posting are pretty low quality. If Wes wants to use them by all means, I can email him the full resolution pictures.

Hey Wes! Come on down to deep south Texas. Steve Wise lives here, I believe. I'll let you ride my 1100 and Steve can ride the 900F. I'll follow in my Bullitt with the camera going. :)

+1

Yes, Trevor is a good ambassador!

Ed

Too bad he quit the site!

I missed out meeting you Wes while you were here on the Island because I was back east... possibly not my best move but I figured that you'll be back here sooner than later. Try to get Trev back on here, but keep him on a short leash so he doesn't stray back into the Vortex. :xsmilie_mrgreen:
