A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Bump. I like this at the top of the list, so I can check it regularly.

I emailed him a few days ago. I haven't heard a thing. The problem is is that I need a set of shocks bad for my 1100E. I hate to buy something else but I don't want to wait much longer.

I registered on their website. Haven't heard a peep. I'm getting tired of waiting too.

I emailed him a few weeks ago. He said he was getting close, and was hoping to have product available this month.

Couldn't wait any longer. Bought a set of used Ohlin's for the time being.

Everybody needs to chill.....

....seriously, he said that he is working on them and has developed what seems to be a very nice product for the Honda crowd. I'm sure he'll let us know if and when he has a quality product for us. No need to babysit us with constant reminders that he's "almost there." I want a set just as badly as everybody else but I'de rather it be 100% perfect and not rushed.

Hmm...I think a simple one line update in response to pages of posts, not to mention emails and p.m's is not too much to ask.....just good business sense, especially since the ETA has come and gone...it would be nice to know that he is still actively working on these, and not held up due to personal/health/technical reasons or whatever.8-[

Tony.

I gave up and bought ZRX shocks. I hope he comes up with something great and it helps everyone out, but I won't hold up my progress for "no information".

The CB site is looking for him also. I hear he is on holiday in the UK right now so I'm sure he'll get back to you soon.

Gents,

Sorry about the absence. To get right to the point all is fine with my business however I was involved in a nasty accident and had my upper jaw badly broken - no not a motorcycle accident - an oak plank kicked back and caught me in my yap just south of my nose. I was down for awhile but I am typing again - the concussion was really interesting to say the least - on the positive side i am now very skinny (relatively) because chewing was a non issue. Enough of that **** - the shocks are ready they were sseveral production issues but they have been resolved and the run has begun. I understand several messages were posted questioning my integrity and ten some - i have no plans to read them and considering I was not here to tell you what was happening the comments were deserved. But I am back with a vengeance..........\\:D/

Glad to hear that your ok. Will you be selling these shocks on ebay or from your website? I saw the cbf shocks on ebay.

Dude. That sounds really nasty. Glad you are back to work....cause I want some of your shocks! \\:D/

Have you been able to work up solid prices??

IRCC, you said mid to upper $200.00's USD for a shock with damping adjustment and preload adjustment.

shocks! shocks! shocks!

let me guess, table saw? sometimes they get you just right, huh? i got a good one in the leg once...

Welcome back Brian. Glad to hear you're on the mend. I never doubted your credibility. Just a little impatience and a sore butt was my inspiration.

Yes, I'm anxious to try your shocks. I'll check the website, and watch for purchasing info here.

Any discounts for GSR members?...who might have help you?...especially with some specs?

Yikes!!!

Ahh, see folks...he was too busy making out with some 2X4s to care about us....all joking aside, sorry to hear the bad news. Hope you get well soon and take it easy man.

As for the shocks, firstimer let me borrow his Icons for track day and they were really sweet. I'll need to give them back unfortunately so yes, I'll be needing shocks soon. Let me know when and where and I'll be ordering a set from you for my GS.

Take care, hoping for a speedy recovery for you...

I see that on the www.cb1100f.net forums you are offering 3 spring weights (& 2 color variations?). Will the GS series have the same options?
