If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I got an e-mail about this new site that sells some racing parts for classic bikes including gs's. I bought these rearsets a few months ago from this company. Nice stuff. Check it out.

Bought a Tarrozi fork brace for my 77 750 from them as well. I havent found a Tarozzi part i havent liked. The rearsets brackets are cast, but should be sturdy enough for street riding. I may end up pickin a set of those up. I think he had fold up peg ones too, so you could still use your kicker. Maybe not.

Those rearsets are pretty solid and good for street riding. I have the folding ones and they feel great. I just ordered the rubber covers for the footpegs last night from them.

for a guy that makes his own braces footrests and controls those prices are obscene.

anybody running these? They look really nice...wonder how far they relocate everything....might have to give them a call....

Running one of their fork braces. Lil on the spendy side, but a direct bolt up application and good quality. Been tossing the idea of ditching the clubmans and going to a clipon set up myself. Should be pleanty of room for all standard controls. As i said he has two versions of the clip ons available, high rise and low rise.

Really? $99 sounded cheap to me.....are they cheaper alternatives?

Well, used is always cheaper lol. I didnt blink honestly but some would say it was a bit pricey. Frankly i think its a fantastic addition to a vintage bike. Nice feel in the front end. More stable, and less "walking" in the forks, no lateral movement. Feels great, instills a good bit of confidence lol

Do they allow for using your kickstart still? Thats my only concern about the rearsets.

Cannot use kickstart. You will have to make a special lever for it to work. It hits the footpeg even when folded up.

In my opinion, clip-ons are the way to go. I got a set off ebay for my 700, and love them. And , yes, there is plenty of room for all the original controls. Went with bar end mirrors too. Makes it look low and sweet!

Wow, I think i may have to eventually pick up a fork brace for my 450. I've been uphappy with the front suspension, and was looking for a fork brace...

I cant decide if I want a fork brace. I like the look of my chrome front fender and dont want to interupt it with the brace. But my front end does feel a little spongy.

When I had my GS1100E, it had a fork brace, but was causing handling problems when cornering. So I took it off and there was no more ill handling problems...so what does the fork brace do for you guys??

It's supposed to give more stability at speed....I've NEVER heard anyone attribute problems to running one.....you're the first....

I've heard that before. A fork brace that puts any stress on the forks at all (either pushing out or pulling in) will cause stiction in the front suspension and make it harsh over small bumps. If you run over a lot of small bumps in a corner the front end will be all over the place.

Some people even think that they hurt more than help, although when you're talking about 35-37mm forks like we are I just can't see it...
