So I picked up the cycleorings.com o-ring kit, main jets since I'm sure the PO never jetted for the Kerker pipe (120's since they seem to work well on Chris' V&H piped stock 79S), aluminum cross tubes from Z-1 and other misc bits and pieces. I have everything torn down and soaking in the dip.
Some questions, I noticed my pilot fuel screws are slightly distorted at the tip, not excessively so but you can tell someone has cranked them down at some point. Should I just go ahead and source new ones or would these be ok as long as the tips aren't broken? Also all of the adjustment screws had been tinkered with. Nothing was at the factory settings and they were all turned out a good ways. The bike has been running rich even with the pipe, stock jets and stock motor so this makes I think. What should I be using as a benchmark for the screws on a stock bike + pipe?
