    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Response to lowballer

a real craigslist troll offers 50% knowing they don't have 2 nickel's to rub together even if you accept their offer...
it is easier just to move on and ignore them but a few months ago i had mr. 50% texting me every couple weeks with the same offer and total lies why i should take half price...the gas tank on my bike was work more than he was offering...i had to get nasty with him and the bike did sell and the buyer was sooooooo happy with the bike and price.
CL...it's a F***** up world we live in....the faceless internet age....tisk tisk

One wonders if it is possible to write a script to find and make offers on everything of value for low prices using multiple users accounts in order to falsely persuade a seller to dump his stuff. If so lets do it and amass millions one old bike at a time.

The problem with Craigslist around here is everyone thinks their no title, rusted frame and two wheels without an engine, fenders, instruments, seat or tank is worth $1000. lol

Just venting. I'm done. Not sorry for annoying him though. Ignoring bad behavior is not doing anyone a favor.

I think it's great. :D Not rude at all. Unlike me who just tells them to f*#* off straight away. I don't have any patience for them. They don't reply. haha. These low ballers actually have no intention of buying anything. They just like to tell their loser mates that "I could have got that for x amount of $." But they don't own anything that runs or drives.... ugh.. Waste of oxygen. Same as those... "I am working overseas but want to buy your vehicle" try hard scammers. :)

I'm glad my sarcasm is appreciated.
certainly is! :) only thing, I don't want to be responding through my own email If I'm going to play with these idiots. Maybe Best to have a "Craigslist account"? You never know what they like to do once they've found someone that is actually responding ....
because, IMO, Anyone that makes an offer before seeing the bike isn't going to buy it anyways so it's probably easiest to ignore them entirely.

I thought that when you reply to the Craigslist email, the reply goes back through C.L. and doesn’t show your address. I delete my email signature. But yes you can’t take anything for granted in troll world.

Another option is to say, "Sure, I'll take that offer.". And then give him the address of someone you don't like. :)

Hmm. Well I think you are right, seeing as I am replying to craigslist address.!! Thanks!

Maybe I've been doing it wrong though because I've been copy and pasting to a new email in gmail instead of using the gmail link on the craigslist ad. Oops. Thanks for prompting me to look into it a bit further.

Never wrestle with a pig, you'll both get dirty and the pig will like it. Low ball offer? Don't answer and block.
