If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Over 60 degrees today (not 40 and rainy like last ten days). And some plans changed suich that I could go for a ride, so I did.

I'll spare you the long boring story about not much, I'll just post these pictures.

The river a lot closer to the River Road than usuall.

Lunch at a mexican restraunt. Looks like used to be an A&W with the car hop service. Went inside. Loud mexican music, and lots of locals talking from table to table about mushroom hunting (bragging about knowing good places but not reveling where).
And I was getting hot in my gear.
I ordered "to go" and sat outside on table.
Food was really good. Salsa was like I never had before, well, other than previous time eating there, I quess.

Other destination in Newaygo.

THis cooler is just Jerky, about 16 different flavors. Have to get at least half pound of something.
They have another cooler of "sticks", another cooler of fish, and another cooler of sausage.

Good to get out.
Have been out before, but this is first ride longer than 15-20 miles.
Was about 110 miles.

Looks like a great ride and some great stops, we had that same string of rain here. Its been great to get out hasn't it? That rain seemed longer than winter!

We seen your bike before, you know?

We seen your bike before, you know?

 Dave, nice but I guess you couldn't find no half naked babes to lay down on the bike for some pics huh? :-\\\ On the road someplace?
Or maybe a kitten, puppy? ;)
That would be new?:D

Hey Bill,

Yep, I have posted pics of the GK before.
Yep, I have posted pics of River Road before.
Yep, I have posted pics of the GK on River Road before, in about same locations.

Oh, Hey, the pic of inside the jerky store, that was new.

Yep, I am boring.

Great pics and review, Redman. Odd that I never get tired of looking at a nice GK. As for the rain....better rain than the tornados we had roll through here last Wed night. Nothin like listening to the minute by minute updates on the location, knowing its getting closer. Hail damage was as bad as we suffered. Others weren't so lucky. Destroyed homes and 13 fatalities within a 20 mile radius. Thats too close for comfort.

nice dave. i was in chi-town today, dropping of the 750. you still planning on bc?

Great pics Redman. Meandering around your favorite roads like that, stopping at your usual haunts, sounds like a great way to spend a day. The countdown to our move to Toronto is accelerating now, I look forward to exploring the area's roads this summer.

Willie,

You know, I stood there looking at the river being lots higher than usall and thinking of the heavy rains/storms we have had. But also thought of the awfull storms there in the southest. Yep.
So, you had it real close to you.

On a more trivial note: I was trying to remember what GK part it was that went to you (sold about 3 parts to 3 different guys at about same time). I think it was the trunk lid. I do recall your cool paint job on the GK. So, yah, I can look at GKs too.

Greg,

PM sent.

I about gave you a call Saturday for the ride, but plans were not certain. And even when I took off on a moments notice, I was again delayed about an hour.

Yes, that is it.
"Meandering around favorite haunts."
That sounds better than being such a boring guy that I go back to same place.

Luxemburg to Toronto.
That sounds like an adventure.
