    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

About a month ago I posted an ad as a Want It Now On Ebay for a wiring harness because there was a couple places for concern on my wiring harness. I found the problem and forgot to recind my ad for a harness. 2 weeks later I get an offer to pull a harness and sell it for $30.00 plus $8.00 shipping. I didn't need it but since he went thru the trouble I told him I would take it and paypaled him on the spot. After waiting for 10 days I asked if it was shipped yet. 3 days later The harness made it's 400 mile trip and arrived here. I about crapped when I seen it. There are 15 cut wires, 6 bare splices, 3 bare hot wires and 2 connections which are so badly melted that they are not usable. This harness has a value of scrap copper and nothing else. I was told I would be refunded after I left positive feedback. I told them there would be feedback left after I received refund and not a second sooner. It will be mailed back today and then we'll see what happens.If your bidding on his stuff, you've been warned.

She has agreed to refund the price, and to refund the shipping charges and she has agreed to refund the amount it cost me to return it to her. . I just accepted her offer to keep me from going thru Ebay against her. If I do get the refund I will post here telling so. She knows her husband screwed up and she doesn't want negative feedback because of him.
 
Well, I've been promised a refund for the last 2 weeks and it never came. Yesterday I filed a complaint with paypal and when I got home from work I had a Paypal refund. Had I just waited I would still be waiting, however a complaint did work. I lost return shipping but it could have been worse.
 
So far my few E-bay transactions have been good. I've been lucky I guess. Glad it worked out reasonably well for you.
 
I bought from them. I got a headlight bucket and ears for my 850 GLZ. They were ok, but shipping took too long. They sent it a month after I paid, and I had to complain to get him off his a$$.

Turns out it was the husband again. She should tell him to get his own account, cause it looks like the only bad feedback was for his stuff.
 
Yeah, I've been buying and selling on EBAY for years and very rarely have had any problems. Every now and then but Ebay is still the best thing to ever happen to the internet.

The husband sounds flaky, I told her to either quit selling his junk or she would soon get her feedback trashed.
