A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

21" front rim is here!!! now I need a tube, tire, and brakes. should get it 1st week of january. also made the wiring super simple and hopefully bullet proof

I actually made 2 so I have one for my cafe project. if there is an interest in a diagram I'll make one up. this is just head/tail light, ignition and charging. I made it with as little confusion as possible for reliability and easy roadside repair. it also comes out in about 3 mins roadside for easy fixes. :D

5, all 5 bikes. depends on the mood. they are priceless in the therapy of my PTSD. I always have somewhere to put my head.

2 GS's both on here. cafe isn't finished but when it is I think my wife will ride it. the chop is for local stress relief

3 harleys 70 shovel is for longer stretched out rides, its heavy, handles like crap around town, but its alot of fun to kick start and chug along on the highway. 71 ironhead is getting a makeover into a super narrow and light chopper(think wheelies and lane splitting) 75 ironhead is on its last leg so I'm gonna sell it.

but I always have a runner and a project.:D

thats look awsome! Ho whard is it to change handlebars? Im wondering If i can pull that off,

I have to say that this is probably one of my favorite looking bikes. Everything is perfectly executed. By the way, what's happening with your cafe build. That one was looking pretty sweet as well. Keep up the good work.

djg, you gotta start somewhere, I challenge you.

theo, CAFE bike is moving slowly, I just moved on up, further south, so I have to build a shed and as you may know the weather is crumby and I have a cold. I did get the wiring done though:clap: and some other stuff.

The GS chop will be getting a 21" rim with a small dirt bike drum since I wanted to get a 21" on it for a while. I was thinking of running a spool hub but decided to use it on my ironhead instead. the disc and caliper will go on the cafe project once I figure out the dual disc setup. I think the cafe will get some work around March.

been busy getting my shovel ready for summer so haven't worked on the GSs in a while.

hey im interested in that wiring you have for your gs450...shoot me a pm

defiantly love this build... found it by accident and it has given me a lot of good ideas for my current build

im actually a member at pirate4x4, i built a cage based off their threds and 4 of my buddies have built them. i dont know a whole lot about steel

Dude, who isn't a member on pirate. I think I signed up originally in 2002?? And if you post up there that you built a cage out of water pipe people will make fun of you.

Most everyone using DOM, CREW, or HREW.

HPIM3738.jpg

the reason I'm on the forum, and the only bike that doesn't require sweating and cursing to start in public places. (also the front wheel is for sale)
