A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I have developed a bit of a stumble when cruising, It seems to go away whenI accelerate. I have not changed the spark plug caps but have done the wires. I looked up caps on Z1 and there are so many. I was wondering if anyone would know which are correct. The ones on the site that look like mine are the ones with the 102 degree bend. However there looks to be different sizes (10mm,12mm,14mm) and I dont know which ones I have. The caps I have now say Tokai Denso and have the number 11410 on them. This is for a 83 GS750E. Thanks for any help you guys can give!

p.s. when I changed the wires it seemed to help a little but not totally.

Im a lil over 10 ohms. Yes I am using copper core wires with stock coils. Im guessing the XB05F are the ones I need. They look the same I just dont know if they are the 14mm or not.

If you call Z1 they will look it up and sell you the correct caps. They know which angles fit which bikes and which cylinders. I did that with my GS and I could not be more pleased.

Yea, i emailed them a few days ago and havent heard anything back.

I did do a search. Nothing that said what to specifically use for my bike though, thats why I am here asking.

You're using NGK B8ES plugs, right? I do believe that's what the 14mm is about.

You need to call. With a telephone. And speak to a person. Seriously. You will get on-the-spot service, quick and accurate.

Call? What's that?

Using this chart posted by Matchless makes it easy to find the proper caps.
No need ask someone else what is right for YOUR bike.
