I first want to thank everyone for the info in my other thread. I will not forget any of it when I reassemble my carbs. What I have is a stock 78 GS1000 engine, a period Bassani 4:1 exhaust and stock air box. I have concluded that with all the time spent installing and removing the carbs I am going to step up to pods of some kind. If any one out there can get me close to jetting requirements that would be great. I originally posted a thread about my #4 carb dripping out the overflow tube. I have changed out floats, float needles, carb bowls, checked the float height multiple times and I still cannot get the carb to stop dripping. I am starting over. My first carb body is soaking right now. I would like to add that I purchased 4 K&L carb kits and installed them the first time around. I just recently noticed that the float needle seats are different sizes. The kits are stamped 2.0 and the ones I replaced are stamped 2.3. The 2.3 has a larger orifice. Can anyone tell me which one I need.
