Ok we try again, Here is Stator on Tuesday, it was so nice we went golfing. Boy did I get schooled, turned out Stator is a scratch golfer and was having a good day.

Stator likes to ride.

Quite the hitter.

His putting was excellent

a one put, Stator was so excited he lost his balance

We stopped for a break.

then the schooling began

Stator hits an iron shot through a 10 yard wide gap at 100 yards, a tough hole.

the schooling continues, driving blindfolded, really!!!

Well the weather has been wet and cold around here in the PNW so Stator has been hanging out and enjoying a little football, beer and popcorn.

Stator made some new friends at game night.

ate some good food

and drank some wine

darn it's all gone!

During one of the snow storms we had around here, Stator and my wife and I took a trip to Depot Bay on the coast and spent a few days.

Stator had his own bed

he just loved sitting on the rail and looking at the ocean,

on our way home, Stator picked the restaurant for breakfast

he chose Maxwell's

ordered up

and chowed down

then it was shopping for Christmas and Stator managed to find a couple bikes to try out.

While the weather was bad and no riding to be had Stator had a new riding suit made, and I think that he likes it.

Then finally the weather broke and Stator helped me with preride checks and then headed out. Stopped at Big Eddie, and then on to Birkenfield.

Looks like Stator enjoyed the new riding gear, boots and all. (that armor grear?)
And enjoyed the ride .
But does seem to have lost the toothy grin.

Stator attended a Vernonia Lions club meeting with me a couple weeks ago. He was well received by all but especially by the ladies. The meeting is held at Mario's, the local Italian restaurant. Since Stator was the guest speaker, he told the club members all about his travels and how he was the GS Resources ambassador to the world. Stator then suggested that the Vernonia Lions should also have an ambassador as well.

Some discussion on the subject was had on the subject and a vote taken. Our members voted to send an ambassador out at the earliest possibility.

Last night at the next meeting, our Lion ambassador was named, his name is Terry Timber and Stator was voted an honorary Vernonia Lion.

The lion was happy to have a name.

Terry Timber and Stator then had a serious discussion on being an ambassador to the world. Terry's first stop will be Australia in June.

I'm pretty bad about posting pictures, but hey. Anyway, since Stator is a Vernonia Lion now he attends the meetings and helps with projects when he is not riding my ttr 125 around the place. So last Tuesday evening while attending the lions meeting he bought his 50/50 raffle ticket.

After purchasing his tickets the meeting was held and then the drawing. You will be happy to know that Stator WON! To the surprise of everyone, Stator's half was $15 which he put into the tip jar.

So where is he traveling to next?

That's a good question, the weather here is starting to dry out a bit and the riding more frequent, so Stator is getting out more now.
The PNW rally may be held in early June and he could be passed on there or sent to any willing host.

I will be going down under in mid June and he could be passed on there as well. Would be nice to secure a beater bike to ride for a day there.

Stator, weather permitting has a ride coming up this weekend.
