Steering head bearings

Am thinking on replacing the steering head bearings Koyo have two bearings listed for the size of the top race
Brand / Quality: Koyo - High Quality
Inside Diameter: 25mm
Outside Diameter: 47mm
Width: 15mm
Seals / Shields: Rubber Sealed
and
Brand / Quality: Koyo - High Quality
Inside Diameter: 25mm
Outside Diameter: 47mm
Width: 15mm
Seals / Shields: None

bottom bearing is
Brand / Quality: Koyo - High Quality
Inside Diameter: 30mm
Outside Diameter: 55mm
Width: 17mm
Seals / Shields: None
Firstly are these the correct sizes and has anyone used a rubber seated bearing on the top race?

I order 32005 and 32006 bearings when I need to change a set.

The set I got for 1100GK were unsealed, but had separate seal plates. THis was from DennisKirk, one set (upper and lower) for one part number.

ANd the "Fitment" also list the 850G (but not the 850GL).

Strangely enough, those numbers are rather consistent throughout the bearing industry. :encouragement:

The letters after that will tell you whether they are sealed (one side or both sides) or not, and a few other things, but the numbers are consistent.

My first thoughts are that those Koyo "sealed" bearings might be plain ball bearings (IE: not tapered roller).

They are defiantly tapered roller bearings.
