DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

We dial, you're the one changing the rules. If you want to make the rules my only rule is run what you bring :)

dial....isn't that soap?
hahahahah
my post said heads up pro tree...1st to the stripes..heads up means no dial.
race your own bike...my bike is a low compression 80mm /gs with a hand clutch.:D
hell you said let's race...i responded.
you didn't say what kind of racing...geeesh:-\\\

heads up and first to the stripe is more about how much money you have spent, and not so much how you ride it- just my view .. don't get me wrong I like FAST BIKES no doubt about that.

I'm in for both -- dial and smile sportsman tree /// and pro .400 otbd -- (out the back door) I'm not the fastest, so monkey business it is:).

like an update about the bracket weekend??

top 5 or 6 guys in points are all within 30 points for champion. point spread is very tight with a tie at the #2 position 5 points down , and 3,4 are also 5 points apart.. SO it's any one's game to win.

Tim Bixler went many rounds both days and got top honors for the Race of Champions at Div3 finals in Indy this week. -- winning in the box final between he and I . I snapped a .029 bulb and ran 9:386 on a 9:38 dial ... Tim .007 and ran 8:71 on a 8:70 . I ran dead on and got put on the trailer:(

Belucci was a 1st round runner up Sunday

Tom Ewig is actually #1 but he is not going to indy --

ok now there is 1-- 2 day event left so anyone in the top 10 can win the GLD championship.

So glad to hear you're doing good with your GS, Curt. I've been missing in action because of some priorities (both personal and with my role with the AMA) that left me completely without time to devote to the strip. I have my bike ready for some T&T but, I'm afraid that I'm going to run out of season before I can make it out. Just wanted to pipe up and say that I appreciate that you post up what's happening with your endeavors and to wish you continued good luck.

dammit curt you still have a bog...
more gear or more 2 step RPM needed?
lighter static springs?
more air pressure in slick?
going off of memory with a similar engine and 7" slick..
seems i left around 7500-8000 on the 2 step.
i was around 250lbs race ready.
just sayin:p

My bet is less gasoline thru the mains and it will clean right up. 127.5 are in there now

tonight we will get some more time to experiment.

maybe a 7500~8000 launch and 11K shifts to see if we can get belucci lower than 30's

little problem before we fixed it.

little problem before we fixed it.

And one more with only 8.5 in the back tire... hooked up good.
Curt

This is an example of "BRIDGING" -- where the bikes is on the wheelie bars and the front wheel is not in the air.

I have best luck running 10 psi in my 7" slick. I learned a lession this past weekend. Saturday raced 1/4 mile. Semi finals bike ran great tell I turned onto return road. Sounded like a plug wire, so pushed all the wires and checked my grounds gassed the bike. Started and sounded great must have been loose? Called us to the line and bike lost two cylinders on the starting line. Bad coil. Went home changed the coil and went to 1/8 mile track. Bike ran great got to the finals. Rolled up to the line. Lite top yellow rolled in lite second yellow. Balb flickered so I rolled ahead BAM red light. Lesson learned once bottom is lite and so is the other person clock starts leave that balb out. Timer is active. whole lot of racing for two second place finishes, Haha. Thats racing.

So... Went last night and turned the 2step to 7000... Funny thing is, no stumble or bog... all I did is take the carbs off, try a friends set( with no difference).Reinstall mine and turn acc. pump back on. Alls good. 1.32 60 foot with a 9.32 at 138. It got damp and traction was minimal.. But I am much happier with no bog... Blower, if you are talking about my lockup springs, there aren't any. No lockup, no slider, just throwing the lever. Sprout, Second means you are right there for the big money... We have one bracket race left for the season. Oct 19-20...

Curt, wish I could make it. I'm starting to build an addition on my garage. Season is way to short, hopfully next season we can make the time to meet up and race.

There is always next year... lets hope... I will agree to race under one condition... Sell the air clutch:)
